Wednesday June 1st
"Pinch and a punch for the 1st of the month". We celebrated the passing of May with a magical light show that even Jean Michel Jare (spelling?) would be envious of!! As we skipped and floated across the icy wastes, the sun seemed to mimic our every turn with a sprinkling of pale pinks, blues and firey orange. All of this combined with my white dog fur ruff pulled up over my face, a steady flow of ground snow (looks like dry ice) left me daydreaming of being an 80's pop star! It seemed that we had hardly finished the first scene and we had already racked up a respectable 60km and 500m in elevation after only 5hrs of travel leaving us all hungry to eat away at the remaining 434km.

Food for thought: why does the sun seem brighter at sunrise when at the same level at sunset?

David :-)

(Hi Smudge and Nesta I will be home soon x)
