A walk across the sky
25 April 2005
Today's word was slow. Slow to get up, slow to eat breakfast, and slow to go for a walk up to the base of the huge Lhotse face you see pictured here, looming above camp 2. About halfway up this face is camp 3, the goal for our next acclimatization run up here. But for today, we are happy just to move slow, and breathe deep!

We actually got to talk to Doc Rachel, Rob, Kat, and Dan waaaay down in Lobuje today. They are doing fine, headed back to basecamp, and should be arriving about the same time we do coming down from up here. Stay tuned for tomorrow from basecamp when the whole AC team will hopefully be united once again!

Till then,
Luis and the AC crew
