Avalanche at Camp 1
4 May 2005    
The Adventure Consultants team reported in from Everest Base Camp and Camp 2 by phone that an avalanche had affected Camp 1 this morning, but all AC team members are safe in Camp 2 and at Base Camp and noone was overnighting in Camp 1. Several people frmo other teams were injured at Camp 1 and a rescue effort from many brought them down to Base Camp during the day. Full dispatches should resume shortly.
