Leaving ABC
Sept. 12 - ABC
And we’re off.
It’s a beautiful but very windy day here at ABC (12:00 noon Nepali time). We’ve just finished up lunch and are getting ready to head on up to CI for the night. We just spoke to Kami and Tsering who are about at CII and they’re reporting hardly any wind from CI on up. It looks like we’re in luck.
Many teams are on their way in today- because our camp sits slightly outside of camp all of the groups pass us on the trip in. We’ve found 4 large groups coming into ABC today. The smallest of those is a 6 person climbing team. It’s bound to be crowded when we return- and just the right team to leave for a few days. Everyone here slept well last night and we’re looking forward to getting high on the route again.
Again, we’ll send some brief messages out to report on our progress.
