Sept. 18 Camp I
9-18-04
Tashi Delek. We are at Camp I at 6300 meters. Today it is 5:00pm Nepal time and it is Saturday evening. We have started our summit push. I know we haven’t been in touch for a couple days. We sat down and looked and did an assessment on the weather today and it looks like a little bit more of the same of what’s been going on. There has been a little bit of sun breaks, some wind, some precipitation each day but relatively stable weather so we’ve decided to make our move and so tonight we are at Camp I.

Tomorrow we will get up and move on up to Camp II and the following day Camp III, weather permitting and everything going as planned. These guys are doing great, they are all in their tents right now and are looking forward to this and having all the hard work they’ve been doing pay off and feeling good on the summit push. So we will be in touch in the morning.

Everyone here says hi to everyone out there.

All our best,
Dave and the Team
