A New Project
2nd April 2006    Monmouth
The last line of our previous dispatch dated 11th July 2005 read "Whilst the rowing is finished the journey has not we do have some exciting news to announce in the coming days, all will be revealed till then thank you very much to you all for your support we could not have done this without you". Well the exciting news was in fact that we had been inivited to meet the Queen at a special Maritime Reception a fantastic honour and great end to the adventure.

That said we have more exciting news to announce which shall be revealed right now. Boy crew member Rob Munslow of the Vivaldi Atlantic Four will be setting off from St Johns in May and rowing solo unsupported back to Great Britain. His aim is to beat the present record of 55 days held by his childhood inspiration Tom McClean.

Unlike like last year Rob has no major sponsors. To date Rob has funded the majority of the project costs from his own pocket. If you would like to sponsor Rob you can have your name on the hull of the boat for £20 or if you are interested in corporate sponsorship a number of oportunities exist, to find out more contact Rob on e-mail; robertmunslow@hotmail.com or call; 07763 478 984

For those wishing to place their name on the boat please send a cheque for £20 made payable to; Slow Adventures, Postal Address; Cedarwood, Lower Prospect Road, Osbaston, Monmouth, NP25 3HS. Please include your e-mail address, postal address and the name you wish to have on the boat, maximum of 2 words.

To follow Rob's adventure log onto; www.robmunslow.com

Many Thanks for your support
