Aches and Pains Ahoy!
1 June 2005    4659.0000N,05116.0000W,0M
Pain is temporary quiting lasts forever. Lance Armstrong.

Well we are now 24hrs in to our row and yes the aches and pains are here in abundance. Complaints range from sore backs, sore arse!, sore legs and blisters. Rob is leading the blister count with 9, one for each finger! Must be a Welsh thing. Still these complaints are talked about with a smile for its a pleasure to be out here this ocean and its environment are magical.

Progress has been good despite rowing against the constant headwind ranging now from 5-8 knts. We have worked hard for every mile but hopefully the wind is soon to be on the stern. Plenty of birds have been seen but know one knows the types not the sought of birds were used to spotting!

Till Tommorow
