DOUBLE FIGURES
9th June 2005 1200bst 4521.0000N,04259.0000W,0M
Day 10 and we're into double figures. Another milestone on our adventure. One of the ways we keep ourselves focused is to constantly set short term targets, days, miles, degrees crossed etc. This combined with the friendly competion between the two pairs as to who has had the best mileage keeps us pushing out the miles even when we're totally shattered. Which is most of the time now, as it goes. The past 24 hrs have been pretty good for us. Light southerly winds have not prevented us rattling off some good miles, and at present we're cracking on Eastward at around 3knts being passed by a large container ship on our portside.
The crew have decided to make this ''FAMILIES DAY" as a trbute to the support our families give us in our venture. Thank you all wives, children, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters. We'll see you all soon.
It has come to our notice that junior team member Rob has not featured in our images so far. So we've given him a moment off from his cabin boy duties to send a photo back so you all know we're looking after him.
Yours Aye. The Crew.
