BIRTHDAY GREETINGS FROM THE NORTH ATLANTIC
12th JUNE 2005 1200bst    4530.0000N,04000.0000W,0M
Happy birthday M ick Dawson, from your favourite [only] brother and Rob, Nige and George. Hope you like the card, couldn't think what to get you before we left so hid £500 somewhere in your house. Have fun.
Yesterday PM saw us back on the para anchor. Winds of 25knts from the South making it impossible to make any headway East. An uncomfortable night has seen the wind shift round to the North West still up around 25knts. Now with the wind and sea in our favour we're back on the oars for some truly amazing rowing. Huge seas behind us, the wind pushing us along, our job is to set the boat square to the sea and hitch an amazing ride. This is a day to remember for sure. With a forecast of more winds and bigger seas we don't know for sure how long we'll be able to stay at the oars, but at least conditions are pushing us East now. Long may it stay that way.

Yours Aye. The Crew.
