We came up the icefall yesterday for the final time. The icefall has changed considerably in the past two months and the ladders over the crevasses change constantly. One of the team dropped out in the icefall so now there are 9 remaining from theoriginal 12.

While we were about 2 hours from camp II in the upper part of the western cwm there was an avalanche down Nuptse which dusted us. Spectacular from a safe distance!

The sherpas have gone up to check camp III today so we can move up tomorrow or the 28th.
