25+ mile day...I'm pretty tired. the Smokies were beautiful and I'm sad to leave them, but the terrain today was wonderful, and I almost hiked a marathon, but Hot Springs is worth it - good food and a bluegrass band. the weather couldnt be better -- sunshine for the most part, and warm... finally. Can't wait to be in Virginia; only 2 weeks maybe. "for one second i felt like a bird, hangin' up in the sky... it was the best feelin' in the world." Keller Williams.

There are no words for this; I'm at 6600ft on top of the Appalachian Trail. I wouldn't trade this for any beach or other spring break trip. The Smokies are unbelievable; and people weren't

Well, I'm only 3 miles from my 3rd state - I hope Tennessee isn't as windy as NC; yesterday it snowed sideways, and todayI got hit by a flying leaf... and it hurt. haha. Well at least its warm
