Pennsylvania has definately turned out to be as rocky as I've heard, but despite all the turned ankles and stubbed toes, it has provided some pretty nice bouldering. Its really nice also now that I've pretty much got daylight 'till 9pm; I can pull a 25 mile day and still have time to climb for an hour or so, swim for a while, and play a game or two of ultimate frisbee. Right now "Trail Days" is going on in Damascus, VA, so the trail is pretty much empty - the group I was hiking with all got a ride back to Virginia, but they'll be back on the trail in a few days. I've got three buddies, Landon, Will, and Matt, who are here to hike with me for the next few days - its nice to see some familiar faces, and it'll be really nice to hike with them for a few days; takin' it easy, throwing some disc, and maybe doing some more climbing. Well, only about a thousand miles left on the trail - I'm in it for the long run for now, but things are still going grand.
