Pennsylvania's rocks deserve every bit of bad publicity that they get. I think the whole state is one big boulder that's been slowly falling apart for the last million or so years. But I guess the constant twisting and turning of my feet is just one more thing to get used to out here. On a different note, it was wonderful to spend some time around a few familiar faces. Landon, Will, Matt, and Mom all made the journey up here to visit/hike for a few days, and while we didn't end up doing much hiking, it was nice to just sit around, almost feeling like I was back home. While they were here, I discovered that over the past two and a half months, I've lost my knack for rock climbing, I've become even worse at basketball - if that's possible - I've lost my table manners, and I smell pretty funky. Oh well, I guess that's the price you pay for being homeless for 5 months. It rained all morning, but the afternoon was beautiful. "It may be raining, but there's a rainbow above you." -The Eagles

I walked 1000 miles to get here, and I'm not one bit disapointed. Last night we hitch-hiked from the trail into DC, and I got to throw frisbee in the Capitol's front yard while the sun set beh
