Aconcagua or the "Stone Sentinel" sits in the Andean mountain range, straddling both the Chilean and Argentine borders. It’s the highest mountain in the Americas and outside of the Himlayas. This colossus rises visibly higher than all the surrounding 6,000 metre peaks. Aconcagua sits in a semi-desert region which means that the air is dry with little oxygen saturation thus making the mountain harder to climb. Omar will attempt the mountain on his own thus making the challenge infinitely harder.
