A Swift Recovery by Kenn Borek Air
Sunday 30 April 2006

At 2140Z Kenn Borek Air extracted us from the magnetic North Pole and returned us safely to Resolute Bay - we were very impressed with the response time of our request for extraction, thanks KBA! We were also delighted that some members of the student Polar Watch Expedition were able to squeeze on the flight to meet us at the magnetic North Pole. We have now de-serviced our equipment, shared some tales with the Ice Warrior Expedition who are still in Resolute Bay and caught up with other Polar expedition news; what a great season. Congratulations to all. We now join the Polar Watch Expedition for some activities around Resolute Bay before returning to the UK on the 2 May 06.

During the month of April our website has received over 312,000 hits!
