Polar Quest Southern Party Arrives in UK

 The team arrived at Gatwick ariport at 0830 with Sean and Paul enjoying an emotional reunion with their wives and children before everyone moved to the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines (CTCRM) in Lympstone, Devon for a press conference.

The team were delighted to be greeted by the Commander-in-Chief Fleet at CTCRM as they arrived who formally congratulated the team on their remarkable achievement. The Reverend Scott Shackleton had travelled from Scotland and held a short service of thanks for the safe return of the team from Antarctica.

After a hectic 2 hours with national and local media the team dispersed to have a few days rest and recuperation.
