Last Day In kTM - 10/19

Mostly a day of touring and shopping. Went to the ancient city of Bhaktapur, founded in the 12th century. Then went to Pashupati Nathar - an area of sacred Hindu temples and one of the creation sites for Hindu funerals.

Hard to say who wins the title for "Best Shopper". We have several good snoops, hagglers, and tire-kickers. The "Most Buyer" award goes hands-down to Carl, despite a last-minute push from your's truly), based on sheer number of purchases, and to Scott in the size and weight caregory. I wouldn't want to pay even his shipping bill on his 3' bronze prayer wheel - not his only purchase "of size".

Tomorrow we leave at 5:15 am to fly to Lukla and start our trek to bc.

It will be a relief...
