The M4 units from Danish Thrane & Thrane and Norwegian Nera are
preferred high-end Internet connection systems for journalists, yachters and military
personnel. The WorldCommunicator is a high quality, portable unit that works
on a choice of different speeds. The high transfer 64 kb/s allows
broadcast-quality voice and video transfer possibilities. It
has extraordinary mobile capabilities and will stay connected
while traveling up to 110 km/hours in a vehicle.
M4 terminals take advantage of packet data service, enabling
always-on connectivity but charging only for data transferred. Global
coverage except from Polar areas. Link two units together and
achieve 128 kb/s.
