I may be able to continue this; we shall see. Technical problems had prevented this until now and voice dispatches were the only way. I was riding the western edge of the clockwise "Loop Current" since Tuesday morning which carried me north nicely at a 2.5 knots average pace. I jumped off that for fear of being pulled northeast then east, by rowing overtime due west on Thursday night. Since then the winds turned easterly, helping me leave that current to my east. I am receiving massive rain and nasty squalls which push me around. Jenifer at Jenifer Clark's Gulfstream has been helping me with the currents. She suspects that soon I will find a clockwise current which will help me. I will try to use this to do a lefthook into the Caminada Pass at the west end of Grand Isle. 145 nm to get there!!!
