Question - "What does having a dream mean to you?"
Answer - "A dream is a goal glimmering in the distance; it is an inner calling which, when accomplished,
serves as the rite of passage into wisdom." Erden Eruç - Sep 17, 2004

    Please stay tuned...
    Feb 14, 2021
As February rolled in, I met with my boatwright friend Paul Papenhouse and had a heart to heart exchange. Until then each time I had hesitated on account of lacking funds, my schedule slipped another two three weeks each time. We agreed that with the funds in hand and time remaining, it made no sense to continue building a new rowboat.

The decision was to regroup in order to harden and refurbish my existing plywood vessel which had served me well over four ocean crossings.

I am forever grateful to Elliott Bay Design Group for the design help that they offered. I may still build a new composite rowboat in the future, but first let’s get this immediate project done.

I will provide more updates soon.
