We came, we shopped, we dropped!
22 Oct, 05 - 12:14
Well some of us did.

Woke to a very pretty morning after a foggy, damp night.

After breakfast everyone went into town where it is market day. For some, it was a day to absorb and observe, for others it was shopping frenzy. I'm not naming names either way.

Tomorrow we trek to Tyangboche. You'll find it on the left edge of the map on the website. From that point on, you'll be able to follow our progress.

NOTE FROM CARL: Just wanting to add in some comments from a first-timer to this part of the world. Kathmandu was an exciting place to visit, but from exiting the plane in Lukla on, it has been awesome views one after another. Being a part of this fascinating and incredibly beautiful area is a great privilege. I came expecting a trip of a lifetime, but it has been far more and each day has been better than the previous. Let it continue!
